You don't think so?? I have ran a few 08 GT's when all I had was Mids at the time and I pulled them hard!

They have 300HP (at the flywheel) and weigh about 3,500lbs, it's going to be close. Mite come down to the transmissions/drivers.

I don't know on their power, but going off what Fergy said, if that's true you're going to want to start lightening the load heh Pulling the passenger and rear seats is the easiest (8 bolts hole the whole rear seating in, 4 being the seatbelt guide on the back portion). Or really depending on how much money is on the line, throwing in a 100 shot or getting a dyno tune GL either way!

Those may be the factory specs but they put nowhere near that the the rear. Sorry guys, but being these cars are all over the place here in Oregon and have ran a lot of them...my votes for the Bird. These Mustangs are slow

You didn't say whether you or the Stang is auto or stick which could alter things but I would put my money on you. I was beating my buddies '05 GT when I was stock, you should be a lower-mid 13 sec. car so again my vote is for you. I haven't seen those hit low-mid 13's unless they had tires, CAI, catback.

N/S I haven't seen these things "stock" hit the 13's at the track once this year.

That could help you especially if he misses a shift or takes off spinning.
Do you have a 273 or 323 geared rear.

My guess would be him winning if you've got 273s.

From a dig your auto should benefit you. From a roll he may have the advantage if he can drive. What gears do you have?
