Default v6 to v8

other than the engine, i know the motor mounts a diff. but whatelse do i need. i know the pcm also.
if i do the conversion how much wiring do i have to replace?

Dont quote me, but i would imagine that there would be two diff harnesses for a v6 and an v8!

There is a difference in the wiring, but not by much..

i knew the harness would be diff. i looking at diff in buying a lt1 or buying a cheap v6 rolling chassie and doing the conversion. id buy a new bmr kmember, the trans are the same

you really would be better off buying a v8 roller...so you have the v8 suspension and the posi rear...the k member is also different, not just the mounts! and mae sure you do a harness for the year of the car or you will have big problems. dont just go OBDI with OBDI make sure it is actually the same year harness as the car...if not send it to speartech and he will set you up good on that...hit me up if you have any ?s.. ive done what you want to do so i know the process...

Transmission is not the same. like he said, get the same year LT1 harness and it will plug right up with no issues.
