So again, Why does my rear end drift to the right on take off only to JOLT back straight which ***** with my take off on stop light racing.

if u dont want this hapening get beter tires...learn how to launch.......or get a honda you would have no problem spining from the rear

If the car pulls hard to one side on launch then your suspension needs to be replaced/adjusted.

To 94Dailyz28: Our cars have a fair amount of power, even stock. If you don't mash it all the way, but still mash it 1/2 way, quickly, it's enough jolt of power to spin the tires. I always ease into the pedal, even with my drag radials

Having "tread" on your tires doesn't mean you'll get traction. If you have a crappy brand (cheap) tire, the rubber has a decent chance of being hard, which will really not get any traction. If it's cooler in your area (like it is here in MN, around 60F now), that'll make things even worse with a cold road and colder tires. That's why they do fairly long burn outs at the drag strip, gets the rubber hot and sticky.
