When i punch it, why does the back of my car spin?

You mean the back tires lose traction? What exactly are you talking about. If your rear tires are breaking traction it's because your tires suck *** and probably need replacing. If your just punching it from a dead stop that would explain it also.

94 z28. I'm sure it's not supposed to drift to the right on take off, I'm POSITIVE ON THAT. So all this bullshit you people are giving me is not helping. If you're not going to help, why post?

So again, Why does my rear end drift to the right on take off only to JOLT back straight which ***** with my take off on stop light racing.

Look their not giving u bulshit, thats just a stupid question
if u dont want this hapening get beter tires...learn how to launch.......or get a honda you would have no problem spining from the rear

Yes because you can launch a A4 any other kind of way right?
My tires still have meat on them, more then enough at that.

uhmm yeah their is something else other than just stomping the pedal to the ground unless u realy have the tires for it(not street tires).In which u oviously dont.

I say i go half way down. But im going to change my tires, and hopefully that is whats making me scared to even attempted putting my heavy foot down.
Quick question, which are those rims from corvette i think? They are black with silver lip. I think size 17 or 18.

My car used to do that. I measured the distance of the left and right tires from the fenders, and found that the right tire stuck out 13/16" more than the left. I installed an adjustable panhard bar, centered the rear end, and now it goes straight instead of heading for the ditch on the right. Huge improvement.

I was going to say the same thing.

If the car pulls hard to one side on launch then your suspension needs to be replaced/adjusted.

adjustable PHB will help with recentering the rear (usually only needed if lowered) adjustable LCA's may help with that too. rear shocks would definitely help it stick more.

Because it's rear wheel drive and chances are if you are only putting the pedal half way down and still spinning out your tires are prob poop. You gotta V8 now bro... Get sideways.

To 94Dailyz28: Our cars have a fair amount of power, even stock. If you don't mash it all the way, but still mash it 1/2 way, quickly, it's enough jolt of power to spin the tires. I always ease into the pedal, even with my drag radials

Having "tread" on your tires doesn't mean you'll get traction. If you have a crappy brand (cheap) tire, the rubber has a decent chance of being hard, which will really not get any traction. If it's cooler in your area (like it is here in MN, around 60F now), that'll make things even worse with a cold road and colder tires. That's why they do fairly long burn outs at the drag strip, gets the rubber hot and sticky.
