Here and there. Forums, local people. Im always looking all the time. If i see a good (cheap) price, I buy it. Wheather or not i need it or not. You never know...... Ive got a garage full of LTX parts as well as LSX parts. If I ever do decide to buy an LS1 car I have all the crap to make a 10 second N/A DD.

thats cool as hell. thats my plan with my purple lt1 i just bought.
i pick the car up for 1500 bucks with the wrist pin bad and the fuel pump out of it.
im gonna try to get it done as cheap as possible

That's really awesome considering I'm thinking about doing the same kind of thing with my '93.... The tuning is all that's really holding me back from getting started.... I want to strip it out and maybe do a few things to it. I got it for $2000, and the tranny was weird, and i think the guy knew it, but I got it home, adjusted the tv cable and BAM, it runs/drives perfectly now... (does have an engine light related to emissions though as of recently... ugh. Doesn't affect anything just annoying). It runs really strong too I think. On my street there is a sign I make runs to now and again. My TA just set a new record to it by getting 100mph right on the mark, and it has run 111.3mph at the track, and the Z28 usually gets about 92-93 to the same sign (before the converter in my other car, 97 was the most it got.... and 108.7 at the track).... So my guess is that it would run right about 100 in the 1/4. Not bad for $2000 and basically no work

So anyway, that is a cool video..... a bit inspiring too
. So did you use craigslist a lot to find those parts? Or some other place? Any help would be great . haha
