Default need advice for the plan of my car

so i want to get as much out of my car and still be able to drive it on the road...current mods are in my sig...i was thinking either going 383 stroker for bottom end or a 355...i definately want to either port my heads or buy some heads to get ported but im not sure what would be the best way to go in order to get the most power for my motor to handle...also i know supercharger and nitrous will be the last 2 things i do to this motor but i just need some advice on everything up to that point

I think about this a lot, if i decide to keep the LT1 and not go LS1, i'll probably do a a 355 with forged pistons, rods, and all new bearings. A lot of people get great power out of a nice 355 without having to spend so much money on a 383 stroker kit. Although stroker motors sound amazing and have great torque usually.

yea im kinda stuck at that point right now...but like in the long run should i go with the advanced induction 200cc trickflow heads or get my heads ported from lloyd? i keep going back and forth on what im doing but i want to get set on the best thing for the long run so i dont have to do it over again in the future and whatever would yield the most power

Im stuck too! I have the top end and I have a spare block too build. Just cant decide if i want a 383 or a 355????? In the long run a 383 has more potential HP/TQ but a good 355 can get close and revs faster?

i think im gonna go 355 all forged, good set of AI heads or AFR, custom cam, or a 306, and juice the bitch up and use it as a street car...**** im confused also on 383 or 355..there is so many threads on which is better, it will never stop...i think a 383 will dominate a 355 any day..it just depends on what you spend you money on and how much you wanna spend..if you buy cheap **** you get cheap result....like they say go big or go home..

355 is a good all around motor...when you get up in that 383/396 range it gets pretty lethal....i have a 355 that is stock on the topend for now and im telling you, its freaking amazing...i seen so much more power and get up from that bottom end rebuild

both are capable of making power, 383 might give alittle more tq, both respond to a set of good flowing heads with the correct cam that is suitable to the style of driving.

If thinking of forced induction or NOS def go forged on the bottom end
