4th Gear Grinds Help

I recently installed the 5.0 short throw shifter, and now when I go into 4th gear when racing it grinds really bad but driving the car normal it is fine like nothing is wrong.

Did you back out the shifter stops all the way? Are the bolts tight in the shifter and between shifter and trans? Did you check/replace the shifter bushing in the trans during the new install?

Yah I have tried backing the stops out. I made sure that the bolts were tight I know that for a fact. But no I never did check the shifter bushing,
I am pretty new to all of this.

Just Checked the Shifter bushing its good. I think that it is probably the syncro

Just odd that a shifter change would cause/expose a syncro problem.. Throw your previous shifter back on and retest.

Well I put on my old shifter and It worked fine. I am getting a new shifter bushing because the part that goes into that on 5.0 is smaller than the stock shifter.
