u bolt doing the drill mod

i just did the drill mod yesterday, which did fix my clutch sticking(almost), anyway's i had one hell of a time trying to get the u-bolt (that holds the master cylinder) in place back in. after a butt load of time tryin to get the holes to line up right, i said f it and got two regular bolts and nuts and used them. just a word of advice to save some people time **** that damn u bolt

I didn't have a problem..

Loosen up the 4 nuts that hold the Brake Petal side on, then jiggle the Brake Booser around, and it will pop into place.

i did the same exact thing. used two regular bolts and some locktite. screw that POS U bolt.

now a question~ should i do the dril mod while my tranny is out?

Lol, surprisingly this may be one of the most helpful posts I have come across on this forum. I spent a freaking hour the other day trying to get that damn u-bolt in. My knuckles look like a Thai hooker's knees! Like you say, **** that ubolt I'm just gonna use some bolts and locktite tonight!
