Default clutch install question

to install the clutch couldnt get any easier my question is im cleanning the flywheel and pressure plate with brake cleaner is it safe to hit the clutch with it on both sides i was going to spray that down also just dont know if i should its a spec 3+ btw

Question

are you talking about the top of the pressure plate or bottom? the only parts that you need to wipe with brake clean will be the friction parts,(the parts of the pressure plate and flywheel that is used when engaged)

im talking about the actual clucth itself i know to clean the pressure plate and flywheel but what about the clutch itself
