clutch problems

Default clutch problems

i have a spec 3 + clutch with about 3 k on it and i went to have my car tuned and from like 3,000rpms to 3,200rpms it feels like the clutch slips like they car bogs hard to explain. but after 3200 it will pull all the way to 6500 no problem and it only happens at that rpm what could it be

also the clucth grabbs like a **** from a stop

hmm..maybe the tune did something??? when did the problem first start?

The fact that it only "slips" between 3,000RPM and 3,200RPM leads me to believe its not actually a clutch issue. If the clutch is slipping, the motor won't bog; it will rev up, and it will usually get worse as you increase the RPM since you're making more power.

I'd look into some other things before you condemn the clutch.

it will like rev up and then just stop and then pull all the way to 6500 it started as soon as i put the clutch in and did a 6 speed swap

That sounds like a Tuning issue, I would look into the Fuel Trims and the Timing in that RPM area.
