HELP! Won't go into reverse!
I got in my car today and when I tried to go into reverse it was locked out. I was recently messing around with my torque arm. Is there some kind of sensor I might have knocked out of place? Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't want my car to be stuck at school for Christmas. Thanks in advance.

That happend to me once when I had my Formula, and had to replace the reverse solenoid lock out. There is a harness around there some where for it on the tranny if i'm not mistaken.

Can you still muscle the shifter into reverse? The solenoid will stop a casual mis-gating into Reverse, but even the weakest person I know can two-hand the shifter past a locked solenoid. If you can't two-hand it in, there's something wrong inside the trans or with your shifter. If you can, then you need to check the solenoid..
