You will only need this one...
J 39431 Fifth/Sixth driven gear puller

and a bridge puller (J-8433), or just a universal bridge will work.

Call Kent Moore to get pricing on new.

Call around to local tool places to see if any can order K-M tools. I found one place in Albuquerque when I lived there; no idea what's near you.

Used has saved me $ over new.

But, I use zero K-M tools to rebuild the T56.

The only thing I need is a way to measure the endplay on the extension housing.

First, don't buy the KM tool, it's a pain to use and if the 5/6th gear is on the main shaft pretty tight, it's worthless (ask me how I know). Also, to use the KM tool, you have to remove the shift plate in order to slide the tool onto the 5/6 gear. I have overhauled more T56/TR6060 than I can remember and some 5/6th gears just come off by hand and some you have to use a puller to get off. The best thing to do is buy a 9" 3 jaw puller from Harbor Freight and modify it by using some 3/16" metal stock from Home Depot and cut to length (pm me for specs). Other tools are:

Snap ring tool (need 3 different kinds)

Torx (I think 35)

Tube or KM 5/6 gear installer

I'll post some pictures later.

For the Kent-Moore tools go here:

http://www.handsontools.com/Kent-Moore-Tools_c_880.html

This is the modified 3 jaw puller I use. I use the short extensions for the Fbody T56 and the longer ones for the Vette T56.

This is the 5-6 driven gear installer and the adapter.

These are the end play tools. Short one for the cluster shaft and the long one for extension shaft.

Here is the Fbody puller in action.
