Default LS7 clutch questions???

Hey,
I have an LS7 clutch that I put in my car after doing a few mods. I'm having a 418 stroker dropped in the car this week. I am hoping to see 500/500 to the wheels, or close to it. I'm wondering if my LS7 clutch will do the trick for the new power I'll be making. Anyone know how much torque these clutches are good for? I just put it in a few thousand miles ago, and don't want to change it if I don't have to. Car will be driven almost 100% street, and may remain my DD. Any insight?

Thanks

I'll put it this way: There are LOTS of C6 Z06 guys who hate that clutch (power handling) with just bolt-on power on their cars. I'd start making plans for a stronger clutch.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard both sides of the story on these clutches. I read someone with an '07 (I think) C6 making close to 700RWHP on the stock clutch with no problems, but you never know...

I'm hoping the fact that the car will be on the street, with no launching situations (obviously), that the clutch will do the trick. I am being too optimistic here?
