Default grinding full throttle on big motor

Ever since I put a 408 in the TA I cant shift fast anymore. If I shift fast it grinds and grumbles when I am WOT. Low throttle is easy shifting. Since I still dont have subframe connectors or aftermarket torque arm that gets it off of the tail shaft, could all the extra torque be messing with the transmission and not allowing me to shift?

Could be that the engine is accelerating faster now and the clutch or transmission needs some attention now .

Unfortunately , that doesn't mean a whole lot . I have received a lot of complaints from customers that had them do their rebuilds .

Yup right on the money Don. My LS7 after I added more power decided that it doesnt like to shift fast at high rpm. But mine really only does it in 2nd and I think thats why it wore out so quick.

The LS7 Clutches are designed for use with C6 Z06 Hydraulics. The stock, 10 year old F-Body Hydraulics simply aren't up to the task. Upgrade the hydraulics with a Tick Performance Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder kit and it'll breath new life into the LS7 setup.
