is this a good set up? for a close to stock 01 ss; ls7 clutch, ls2 flywheel, tick, mccleod, or ram master cylinder and new slave cylinder. oh yeah did i mention i am unsure of which master cylinder to get?
i'm happy with my ram adj MC...inexpensive and adjustable...been working great for over a year.
but honestly...if you aren't planning on major upgrades for power down the line, there are better (lighter) clutch setups to go with. and only slightly more $$
something like the spec 2, or even 2+ if you are planning some power upgrades.
and a resurfaced stock flywheel will work fine, or go for a billet steel for a little less weight.
