Default lt1 t56 to a ls engine

Will a lt1 t56 transmission fit onto a ls type engine. If so how would I make it work.

Just sell it and buy an LS1 trans. The LT1 trans is worth more.

change the input shaft...maybe! the slave cylinder is different too, on the lt1 t56 its an external slave, the t56 is internal, inside the bellhousing!
