drill mod - how does it affect driveability? I did a search couldn't find anything that answered this question. How does the drill mod affect clutch engagement for daily / easy driving? i.e. does it make it harder to shift smoothly?
Re: drill mod - how does it affect driveability? It doesnt affect daily driveing at all. It will probably extend the life of your clutch a little. It makes the clutch engage a little harder but not very noticable during daily driving. Before i did it when i went to the track the clutch would get burned up on street tires. (Z06 clutch with about 10,000 miles on it) after drill mod I didn't burn it up at all with nitto's. Huge difference for the track. I would say it is a must. You can find very good write ups on instructions and bleeding techniques. I used a mighty vac to bleed the master and it worked fine. Hope this helps you decide the right thing to do.
