Default pedal to the floor

Sometimes when i go to drive my car in the mornings my clutch is stuck to the floor and i have to pump it to build pressure. I don't get why it does this since it was fine when i was driving it the night before.

any ideas?

Are you leaking fluid anywhere? Its most likely GM's wonderful hydraulics. The first suspect is the master cylinder most of the time. There is a sticky about this in the manual transmission section.

The symptoms you described do not sound like a clutch problem at all.
