6 speed replacement help

6 speed replacement help last week when I got my clutch in the mail I came here for info on people who have swapped out the clutch on a ls1 based camaro. I remember seeing a post of someone who made a "jig" for holding the tranny before lifting it into the bellhousing. I remember his post reading somethign liek a 1x6 with 2 triangles to hold the trans level, if anyone knows what it is i am talkin about can you link the post to me so i can make it. this is the first time ive swapped the camaros clutch. i went with a centerforce df3, sofar it has been an easy install and with the info i got from the shim checking {id never of thought to do that} to the pics of where all the bolts were. i also got the fly turned and balanced thx for that info. im workin on jackstands with no trans jack so it is just a little slower then id like. thanks to any info you can share

I am not aware of this"jig" you are refering to, but you can always stud the motor, and slide teh tranny over the long studs, and once you get a bolt or two in, remove teh studs and replace with bolts.
