Default New Flywheel?

wrapping up my first larger build and i cant find any good pros/con on getting a new fly wheel, the stock one has probly been re-surfaced 2-3 times, is there any added benafit to getting a new steel flywheel over a stock unit?

clutch is a spec 3+ on a turboed 383

Wow, I didn't know there was enough material on an LT1 flywheel to be resurfaced 3 times. Might want to look into a replacement.

"benefit"...a steel FW typically is SFI certified.

the nodular iron is not. 3 resurfaces...might be getting to the point where a FW shim is needed.

I took my 'used" stock FW to Kragen for a "remanufactured" stock one for $30. ($130 FW-$100 core)

what about clutch holding ability/ pedal feel and what not?
