Default New clutch problems

I ordered a monster 3 clutch and the adj. MC from tick performance about 3 weeks ago. I had it all installed and I adjusted the MC like it said in the instructions. Everything seemed to be working great, shifting smoothly and it had a good pedal feel. The only thing I noticed was just a little chatter but it seemed to be getting better everyday. Now I got about 560 miles on it so I said its time to test it out. I went to the track last nite just to make one pass to see how its going to perform. I did a small burn out and when I was getting ready to stage I noticed that when the clutch started engaging it would grind really really bad. So I backed out and thought it might need an adjustment and with my luck that didn't help neither. Its grinding really bad and shaking when I try to take off in first. After it gets going it shifts fine with no noise. Everything is new slave, clutch, pressure plate, MC. Also my car only has a few bolt ons so I know the clutch can hold it.

thanks
Josh

Man, a bunch of different possibilities, but not quite sure what you mean though, so need clarification first:

After the burnout, it started grinding IN gear, or trying to GO into gear?
You were IN gear, with clutch pedal depressed, and was grinding?

Or, tranny was in neutral, depressed clutch, and tried to put into gear, and tranny grinded????

yea I know its kinda hard to explain. I just had the tranny rebuilt also and its going into the gears fine. I can tell its in the clutch. Its when the clutch starts engaging it makes this awful noise and will shake the car but once it starts rolling good it shifts through the gears fine. Its like its not putting enough pressure on the clutch for it to take off. I just hope its nothing serious cause I have spent alot of money trying to get everything right. This will be the third time the trans has been out in about 2 months. My question is how can I tell if the slave cylinder/throw out bearing is bad or the pressure plate?
