Default Difference in T56?

Search = Useless, so here I am.

Is there a difference betweent the F-Body T56 and a C5 Vette T56? I have a Vette one for sale, and am unsure if it will be a direct swap into an F-body. If not, what is the difference?

Completely different.

Corvette uses a transaxle T56, mounted in the rear of the car, which houses the transmission as well as the differential.

Not possible to use one in an F-body.

I could tell it was different when I took it out of the vette, but wasn't sure what it would take. Thanks for the replys.
