Default SBC to LS1 trans?
Will a LS1 6 speed work behind a standard SBC? What would I need to do about a pressure plate? Thanks for any input.

The McLeod 8710-10 bellhousing should allow a direct fit. You can also swap over the input shaft/Mid-plate/Bellhousing from a LT1 trans, and use all the LT1 4thgen Fbody clutch setup.
