First question, is there a difference between a clutch for a 99 camaro and a 5.7 GTO? I know they have different part numbers from GM, but is there any difference? Next I just had a new Tick master and GM slave from Tick along with a Spec stage 3 installed with spec flywheel. The clutch pedal has a half inch of engagement. If you addjust the master it still only has about a half inch of engagement. It engages at the top of the pedal no matter what you do. Its installed without a shim and yes I have put a shim in it and it did the exact same thing. I broke it in for about a thousand miles and it still does the same thing, the best part is it slips to The mechanic says its the wrong clutch, I don't know what ot do. Some one help before I spend another $700 plus bucks putting in another new clutch
