Is it toast? The past few days its bean VERY tough getting into reverse. Today went to back out of my driveway, put it in reverse and let the clutch out all the way and nothing. Revved it up a bit and the speedo responded. All the forward gears work but have been getting pretty tough to get in gear. The trans had 120k on it and I have put maybe 1500 on it since I put it in my car. Btw, the car makes 75x/74x to the wheels and the trans is bone stock.
Dude are you kidding ? Its all those 20+psi dyno pulls killing your trans ! JK,almost sounds more like a rear issue but dont you have a 12 bolt ? Let me know if I can help you out,you need to run that beast friday !
Thats right,I forgot which diff you had in it. Hell you dont need reverse to race,gotta come see Nathan run the Beast ! Tear it out real quick and fix it,I am sure you can have it on the ground in less than an hour. I have the cradle out of mine to fix a leaking oil return from the pass side turbo,left a spot on the floor when we dynoed it the other night. see you friday,come down even if you dont race.
