Default My method of bleed Tick MC on the cheap

Well I really loved the Tick adjustable clutch master cylinder, but the last time I put one a put a mastercylinder it had air in it. So I came up with a my method to bleeding a master cylinder.

Things that are needed.

1. Dasani water bottle personal size, or something comparable with a some what flat base.

2. A plastic tip, that is open on both ends. I used a tip that came with a tube of RTV sealant. You can see what we used in PIC 4 at the bottom of this page.

3. Razor blade

4. Brake or clutch fluild

5. A couple of nice friends to help you out in holding and pumping

6. A course the Master that you are trying to bleed.

Start

A. Start off with with the razor blade and cut the top off the water bottle so you can pour clutch/brake fluid in the bottom of it.

B. Use the razor blade to cut the top off the silicone tip.

C. Then open the clutch/brake fluid up and pour the brake fluild so that the GM connector is covered

D. Then fill up the resivor that is attached to the master with fluid

E. This part is kind of tricky because the plastic tip floats in the brake fluild, but push the tip to the bottom of the water bottle that is filled up with brake fluid, and push the clutch line on top of the plastic tip. I doing this you will open the clutch line connector. Allowing brake fluild to travel both ways.

F. Slowly push the main clutch rod in. You should start to see bubble in the bottom of the water bottle. Then slowly release the rod so that it returns to the out position. Wait atleast 15 seconds between pushing the rod in so that the fluild has a chance to equalize

G. Repeat step F. Several times. Make sure you keep a eye on the resiovor, make sure there is fluild in it at all time.

H. After there is no more air coming out of the clutch line. You should be able to lift up on the clutch line that is submereged in the bottom of the water bottle. That will close the connetor fitting sealing off the fluild.

Finish. Top off the fluild in the resivor and install in the car.

I hope this helps someone. Sorry I did not get this out when everyone was buying these things.

Tell me what you guys think
Please.

I hate the mighty Vac. And I have no money for a big pressure bleeder.

That was my genius way of doing it, this time. Seems to be perfect
