Quick Clutch Question

Quick Clutch Question So, anyways, my stock replacement clutch pretty much exploded the other night. So, I had the shop put in my Spec Stage 3 that I bought a couple months back. I just went and picked it up from the shop a little bit ago, but it just feels weird. It doesn't even start to release until the clutch pedal is almost all the way out. Maybe an inch or two from the top. I'm guessing that it's not normal for it to be that way. Anyone know why it's like that?
mine is a stage 2 and it releases almost right away. maybe they need to bleed it more. mine is slipping right now and im tryin everything so i dont knwo what the fucs up with mine.

Yeah, that could be the problem. My buddy also said a little bit ago, that maybe they need to adjust it a little better. I guess I'll just take it back to the shop tomorrow and tell them what's going on. Hopefully they'll do it for free.

Well, I went back to the shop before work this morning and talked to them. They told me that, it's just the way that heavy duty ceramic clutches are. But, my buddy and I are still thinking it should be different. Maybe I'll look into an adjustable master. Are they easy to put on? What kind should I get, and how much are they?

did they use the provided shim.
i got a spec stage 1 and it releases from the top as well. its been doing that since day 1 and still with 10k mi on the clutch. im going ls7 soon and nver going back to spec

I bought the clutch used, with a little less than 1000 miles on it. It was still basically brand new. But, I didn't get a shim with it.
As for the adjustable master cylinders. I noticed on Byunspeed, that the McLeod adj master is for '93-'02. But, wouldn't that mean that they all are then? If so, I'll probably just end up going with a Ram adj, since WS6store has those for less than half the price of the rest I've been seeing.
