Mike, what parts did you order and what car were they being fitted to. I assume you have a 2000SS based on your name but...you know what they say about assumption. If you are seeing a puddle beneath the car it generally evidences a hydraulic leak, more specifically one originating in the Slave-cylinder. Have you noticed any inconsistent pedal feel? Has the pedal been spongy since the work was completed? Have you checked the reservior fluid level? Let me know a little more and I will be happy to assist you. Thanks!

i just ordered a spec 3 clutch from speedinc.... yes i have a 2000ss the car has been sitting for over a month due to me ordering new heads from exhaust leask.... i had ordered the clutch and took it to a shop to have put on when i get the car back the clutch pedal was extremely stiff, they said give it a day or two to let the pressure go down. the clutch grabs extremly fast like the instant i let out the pedal... but the thing is they told me i had the wrong throw out bearing and they said they would find me a new one...i mean i've heard great things about spec clutch

Having the wrong bearing...interesting. The bearing we provide is like the OE part...manufactured by the same folks that build them for GM. My guess is that your car still had the original equipment bearing and slave which were updated in 01. That being said it may have a different appearance but...it is what was specified in 2001 and later models by GM. Did they explain the difference in them? Do you have a picture of the original bearing? I am happy to take a look if you have a pic. Thanks!
