rebuild/upgrade
rebuild/upgrade hey guys ive been readin through here about what ppl are doin to upgrade there t56 and i need some parts info. the car should be putting down about 700hp and in that range for torque. will be using a twin disk and the car will be raced quite a few times. i need to know what parts i need to upgrade to keep my trans runnin ok. right now it has no problems at all. i was lookin at the stage 2 kit from tick but was hopin to spend a little less on parts. is there anything in the stage 2 that i dont need? wat would you reccomend for my trans?
wat i was thinkin was upgrade the forks, keys and get the output shaft cryo treated. i know thats about the limit of the stock t56 but it has 165k miles so i figured it may need more but if thats all you guys think it need thats all ill do.
Get the level 2 rebuild from tick and the viper main shaft kit i think you can get from D&D. Or just have tick do the Viper Level 3 build for you and that should be more than enough for you.
