Need advice. Possibly the clutch.
Need advice. Possibly the clutch. Hey whats up gents? Been a while here on ls1. I see some new peeps. So here is my story. short version:
Friend had a kid. so i had a cigar and i dun tell my family i smoke. so i went out to smoke heard a rattle from underneath the car then it went away. Drove for like 30 minutes. When i got home i pulled my feet out of clutch and it just turned off on me. Plus the clutch pedal become very soft and fell to floor. I mean it still turns on and everything sounds fine at start up. Cept the clutch pedal is all soft and stays on floor.
When i turn on the car just cuz i dont like a car to sit in the garage. it sounds fine but then the rattle returns when i start to rev. IM guessing it might be the clutch. One time my master or slave cylinder went out but it still worked. I can get the gears in but i dont like to drive w/o a clutch if that is what is wrong with it.

before i attempt to fix it. i would like some advice from my ls1 friends. Btw im sure it was slipping once and a while before this.

update. Looked at my car for leaks. The resvoir for clutch dot 3 gets low fast. Even when i had my cylinder going but it wouldnt leak as much. So it has to be the master cylinder. I doubt its the clutch. As i got no smell of burnt clutch ever. any more advice will help
