Default Big confusion, have a question about SPEC

WHat color do they usually make their clutch kits? Did they ever make them in Yellow? The pressure plate in my car has "LUK" inscribed on the plate, but also has the SPEC logo in big letters on it. Its kind of weird and it looks like a stock pressure plate but I'm not sure.

A little over 6 years ago we built yellow plates based around a Luk cover design. The plates were modified but they had less clamp-load than current plates and use an older disc materials compound. That being said let me know what other questions you have an I will be happy yo assist you further. Thanks,

Thats just what I needed to know, I know the Luk clutches are what come stock on these cars so when I saw both names on the pressure plate, I was thoroughly confused as to whether I had a stock or aftermarket clutch. The clutch disc was pretty worn, but the pressure plate was what was really messed up. It had full cracks all through it and looked like hell. For six years though and an unknown amount of beating the things taken, I can say I'm a happy Spec customer

Any chance you could provide me with what the clutch was rated to or a link with the specs on it, only for my own knowledge as to what I was driving with? Was it meant to feel like stage x clutch or was it a stock replacement type of deal? the pedal didnt quite feel stock but I'm wondering if thats because of the clutch or because of something the previous owner may have done. Thanks

The plate was still a built version of an OE based cover. It had higher capacity than the OE unit. What type disc was with it (what did the disc look like)? I ask because the color alone won't really give me the full story on what you have.
