tranny 'scratch'?

tranny 'scratch'? if i over-rev a gear, say i'm shifting into 5th gear going 45 and bring the rpm's up to 4k or so and drop the clutch there is a rather loud 'scratching' noise. similar to when you grind gears on a missed shift. otherwise shifting is normal.
also, not sure what's causing this bu i recently received my car back from the collission shop and now it does something rather odd. pretty much at any speed when i let off of the gas pedal it feels like the rear end of the car kicks to the right slightly. does it at pretty much any speed.
