Did the drill mod.

Did the drill mod.
Went through all the usual steps with drill mod, had a bitch of a time trying to bleed the system (my mityvac didn't come with directions, so I had to figure out how to set it up correctly). Once I did that, bleeding worked.
Car shifts really smooth and the clutch is a little easier to manipulate. I'm sure it helped because my clutch fluid was black.
Great mod overall, just a pain if you don't know what you're doing (I never bled a clutch before).

Could you link the walk-through you used?
On another note, I remember reading on this site that there was a reason behind the tiny hole and why doing the drill mod wasn't such a good idea. Does anyone know where I can re-find this? Lol, there is such a wealth of stickies and posts that I have misplaced it. =[

check install university, and do a search on here for it.
I really like it. It makes shifting so much easier and lets me control my clutch better as well.
The only reason I've heard it being bad is more drivetrain stress, which stock M6 cars don't need more of with the 10 bolt backing them. But it really doesn't matter. Racing isn't about babying subpar factory parts.
