Default pro 5.0 problem

so i had the tranny and clutch done on my car this past week (full rebuild on tranny and monster stg 2 clutch w/ lightweight flywheel). after i get the car back i realize that the shifter is dead to the left and right direction (no firm snapback to the center position, just falls where it may). does anyone have a parts diagram of the pro 5.0 or know what is the reason may be? are their springs in the shifter that hold it tight that might not have been put back on correctly? any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Normal, mine did the same thing. Pretty much have to take it apart and change the springs for heavier ones.

Where can the heavier springs be purchased and does anyone have a diagram, I just brought a used Pro 5.0 shifter and want to fix any issues before I install it.

First remove the stick from the shifter, then take off the 4 Allen head bolts from the center section. The two parts(upper, and lower) should pop apart. You can install a small washer above each spring to give the springs more tension.

If you can find some stiffer springs to use, I'd like to know also.

I did this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...heap-easy.html

Worked like a charm.
