clutch bleed question

clutch bleed question i know this is a dumb question but the transmission does have to be out of the car to bleed the system right? if so can i cut a slot in the side of the transmission to get to the bleeder?
Right above the Quick-Connect is a hole in the Bell Housing, that is where you stick a 8mm in and get to the Bleeder. It's a pain in the *****, some people cut a hole in the Tranny Tunnel near the Gas Petal to bleed it.
I have a Speed Bleeder, I got rid of the stock one.

hmm alrighty i guess that would work! i still have the stock throw out bearing/slave cylinder in the car. should a swap this out when i put the new master cylinder in?
oh by the way the reason i'm asking is because i lost pedal pressure this weekend. i'm going to replace the master cylinder and need to know whether or not the stock throwout bearing/ slave cylinder should be replaced.
