McLeod or LS7?
Hey guys I need to do a clutch swap and am wondering which would be better the McLeod Steet Pro or the LS7? I am just bolt ons in a 98 Formy. I have had good luck with McLeod in the past, but don't see too many guys running them anymore. Also have thought about Spec, but I hear as many bad things as good things with Spec.

imop i think mcleod is the better choice. especially if u plan on doin more mods later on. spec also makes a great product too. the ls7 a decent street clutch with light pedal effort....but have had a few friends kill them after makin more hp or takin alot of passes at the track. my mcleod single lasted 3 seasons and my best times with it are in my sig.

McLeod vs LS7 are two completely different clutches.
Can't say much about the McLeod because I haven't ran one. Only know about some of the issues I've read about.
The LS7 is a fantastic street clutch, I've been happy with mine.
However, I can't see it holding much more than 450hp to the wheels.
My next clutch will most likely be a Monster Stage 1.5 or Stage 2.
They seem to get good wear and just work. Monster's success
has come from making a great product.
I also have a Tick m/c which I am also very happy with. Well worth
the money.
If you're in the market for a new clutch, why not try the Monster Stage 2 ?

I went with the Monster Stage 3 premium package with lightweight chromoly flywheel. I figured for the $30 difference I would step up to Stage 3. Thanks to Derrick at Morris Motorsports for all the info and answering all my questions.
