Dumb Question?

I tried to search for this and couldnt find a thread about so here it goes. Will a Ls1 or 5.3 mate directly with a t5 trans?

If not what needs to be modded?

A link would be great if there's one I missed.

It can be done but not as a direct fit. Usually even a mild LSX based engine will make enough power to break a T5.

Yes thats something else I was concerned about. I kinda figured that trans reliablity would be a issue behind a LS motor.

It might hold up for just cruising or in a super light car but more than likely it will pop 3rd gear if you hammer on it.
