pilot bushing, quick question!!!!

does the tapered end point towards the crank. or is it the flat side thanks

the tapered goes to the crank, the flat side should be facing out. Thats how the stocker was installed on mine when I pulled it.

That is 100% incorrect. The tapered side faces the transmission to act as a funnel to accept the input shaft. It is not the end of the world if you install it reversed, however it will be slightly more difficult in installing the trans.

Also make sure you maintain the inner size of the bushing when you install. I personally use an old input shaft that I use to drift it in.
