Replace 5/6 sychro? pics within

This is the 5th gear side.

The car had no problems that I noticed shifting into 5th or 6th. Only problem was grinding going into fourth.

What do you guys think? Let it ride or replace?

40K supposedly. I bought engine and trans out of a wrecked car, didn't get to see the odometer.

I did find the 4th gear blocking ring was bad, not sure if the two are really related.

Yes, I would DEFINATELY REPLACE the syncro. How does the corresponding gear (5th gear) look? If the engagement teet look similar, I would replace that too.

This is a picture of the reverse gear but the small teeth next to the BIG teeth is called the engagement teeth (or dog teeth). Check those to make sure it doesn't look like it's chewed up. It should have a sharp triangular teeth.
