Default Defect with Ram pressure plate?

I've attached 2 pictures. They are of a small bump - about the size of a pea - that is in the surface of my pressure plate on my new Ram clutch.

It's obvious that the drilling that occurred during balancing did this. There is a hole right behind the dimple. Looks like the drill didn't go all the way through, but it was very very close. The dimple does protrude off the surface of the disc a couple hundredths.

I ask this for 2 reasons.

(1) This is an *obvious* bump. As soon as the motor starts turning, this bump is going to tear across the clutch disc pads. Now, I'm no expert, but that doesn't sound like a real good idea. Of course I could drill it out...

(2) This will leave a hole in the pressure plate disc. I don't think it's a big deal, but I want to check and make sure before I install this thing.

It doesn't give me warm fuzzies, so I'm not going to install this until I get a good answer.

Andrew - sounds like it was drilled too deep in balancing. Give me a call.
