Default How to clean a clutch?

Long story short, my new 408 had a bad eagle crank seal. I replaced it once when it had 20 miles and was an a4. Now 500miles later its leaking again. I dropped the trans and found oil all over my new 12" Centerforce setup. Thing is I know the clutch soaked in some oil. Is there a way to clean it? There are no burn marks AT ALL...there are still the fine lines on the press plate and SFI flywheel. It was on the dyno a few times and did 2 standing mile passes. Clutch never slipped.

I thought about brake cleaner but don't know how it will react to the clutch.

I used brake clean and so far so good, but might want more opinions on that.

I thought this was the case. I just wasn't sure how the cleaner would react with the asbestos.

I would not use brake cleaner on the disc. See if you can get a new disc.
