found out an ailing problem
then the next day as I was driving around, I couldnt get it into any gear, temporarily. From then on, it wouldnt let me into gear at high RPMs.
I asked about it on this board and the final conclusions was the slave went out.
The car was still driveable, so i limped around on it, till I got the time to get to it.
Turns out it was my pilot bearing or bushing....whichever is the round sleeve (forgot exactly what my buddies told me).
It was mangled to hell and back, gnawed up on the edges.
Then I go and look at the input shaft....what do ya know, its got a few real nice grooves in it
The synchro's were already worn out too, so its rebuild time baby.
Who would you guys suggest I get all new tranny parts from? Most durable for the price.
