Default Quick T56 Compatibility Question

Hello guys and gals, I've just got a quick question.

Will a T56 from a 2002 Z28 Camaro work with an LM7 (5.3L block from a 2000 Silverado)?

Will I have to change the bellhousing and/or the output shaft?

Thanks in advance!

I think you'd be fine with an ls1 f-body tranny. I'm not positive but I think the only LS t56 tranny that has a little bit different output shaft (longer or shorter I forget which) is is the one from the the 5.3L SSR

You'll be fine with the 5.3 and f body t56. The 5.3 is an LS based engine just like LS1s, LS6s, etc

So if I'm using an LS2 clutch/flywheel with the camaro T-56, I wouldn't need to buy any other converting parts right?
