trans issues....opinions?
trans issues....opinions? my trans will grind when shifting into 4th, unless i ease it in, and downshifting from 5th into 4th is downright impossible. i'm thinking i may need new synchros, (but who knows until you get into it, right?) how's my aim?? oh, and sometimes it will pop out of 2nd. what could that be?
also, before i put the car away, the clutch started acting funny when cold, the pedal would not seem to grab until you were almost right to the floor, and when you released it, there wasn't very much travel at all, meaning it didn't feel like it was grabbing on by much. it doesn't stick or anything, and the clutch was supposedly replaced about 10,000 km's ago with an LS6 unit. i'm thinking it may be a slave issue, or would it be a problem with the master cylinder, or both??
