Clutch advice So I've got a '99 Z-28 and it REALLY needs a clutch. I've been doing a lot of research and it seems most guys are using Spec stage 3+'s in their cars. Sadly, I'm too broke to afford one and it needs to be replaced SOON. I've seen Stage 1s for around $250 and Stage 2s for around $380. I wanted to know if any of you guys have had experience with either of these clutches and to share your thoughts. Thanks!
I got mine from Scoggin Dickey. They are a sponsor of the site and there are several other sponsors that sell them. They are $459 for the clutch kit and the flywheel on SD's site unless you want an aluminum flywheel and then its $559. Of course you can check the other sponsors and maybe beat that price but I liked the way SD took care of everything I ordered from them. You have to get the flywheel since the LS1 flywheel won't work with the clutch.
