Casper's skip shift eliminator problem I know it is just a resistor with fancy plugs, but it was cheap enough. Problem is I installed it today, took the car for a drive to the hardware store and enjoyed not being forced into forth. Leaving the parking lot however it forced me into forth. It did it again on the way home....weird! I parked the car and took it for another drive....no skip shift. The connector is literally unplugged and plugged into the resistor pack and the block off plug with no wires what-so-ever is plugged into the trans. How is it possible for the skip shift to work at all????

Yep, just drove it again....skip shift. I just don't understand. The wiring harness isn't even connected to the solenoid and yet occasionally the light comes on and it forces me into forth. Frustrating, I just don't see how it could be an install issue, I don't even understand how the solenoid can still operate. I guess I will dig into it tomorrow and see what I did wrong. Any thoughts?
