Manual center console different?

Manual center console different? Is the manual center console different between the 5-speed and 6-speed (and what about years???
I'm doing some brainstorming on some modifications on the center console mainly around the shifter, and plan on one day swapping from a 5 to a 6 so I wanna know if basically I'd have to get a console then and possible affect my ideas I have..thanks.

What about 93-97 then...(I have a 95..)??? If I recall I think the only difference is cupholders on the backside but thats why I made this thread to make sure...

BUMP as I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to my last Q as I want to get going on this modification but not sure if it is different which I doubt from jmm98LS1's response but wanna double check. Thanks
