Fluid level question

Fluid level question heres another dumb question for you guys
I have new fluid in my trans....synchro-mesh
But I am not sure how much is in it due to pulling the trans and adding some (Still new fluid the entire time, never ran when put in car)
Well when I put it in the car this last time I just had pulled the fill plug on the side and seen fluid was coming out of the hole.....That should be the right level right?

You are correct...the fill plug on the T-56 is on the side for a good reason - idiot proof way to fill the transmission to the proper level, provided the car is level when you fill it. Should be about 4 quarts regardless.
