Default spec 3 or monster

i have a chance to get a new spec 3 for 350$ or was thinking about saving up for a monster stage 4. I heard monster perform awesome and have near stock pedal feel but have heard spec 3 are pretty tough on the leg but still perform pretty good still. what do u guys prefer

i would go with the LS7 clutch unless you are running boost, lots of nitrous or a seriously built LS1!

I have a stage 2 monster with tick master and it feels amazing. It doesnt make any noise doesnt slip. Never ran a spec so I am biased but I like the monster.

i would run an ls7 but eventually it will be seriously boosted or sprayed this winter. Right now it makes around 400 at the wheels i am guessing and i just finished my 8.8 build so i will be running a 4.10 and 150 shot this summer. work permitting, this winter i hope to start and finish my 408 they will ethier sport a monster turbo or a **** ton of compression with a huge shot. So with this cluth i am planning for the future

Mass, how old is this "new" Stage 3? I ask because with our 12" Single-disc kits the pedal effort is fantastic! That being said, and because I want to make sure I provide you with the recommendation that fits your needs, let me know your planned power output and usage type. Once I know more I will happily provide you with more details and a suggestion of stage. Any pucked disc is going to have a quicker engagement than a full-faced disc would and may be perceived as being more "on and off" in its nature as a result. That being said a Stage 2+ or 3+ may be a better option if you want smoother engagement. Again, let me know your plans and we can proceed from there. Thanks,

well specifically i will be making 500 rwhp with spray this summer and next spring god willing i will be making aprox 700rwhp. I have heard both good and bad about spec and just good about monster. I understand monster hasnt been around as long so i am not passing premature judgement on spec. I a few guys that run you r cluthes and like them very much but the same goes for monster. I believe the cluthe was made within the past 12 months, a little curious about this new cluth you say you have though

The 12" units have been available for a while now and are the standard offering. You can either measure the disc to confirm the diameter or let me know when and where it was originally purchased and I will be happy to check the history on the order to see if it in fact a 12" kit.

As you likely know you can find positive and negative reviews of any company or product. We have manufactured nearly 20K LS based clutch kits over the years and have a less than 1% return rate across the board for our products. I am certain that you would be happy with our Stage 3 or Stage 3+ for your needs both now and in the future. The 3+ will be smoother to drive on the street while providing a greater torque capacity than the Stage 3. But, the Stage 3 disc is lighter, allowing for slightly faster shifting. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to assist you further. Thanks,
