t56 problems

tranny grinds going into second really bad and sometimes won't go in at all unlees i really push it in there and when i do i have to dump the clutch for it to get it. also does it on 3rd gear and now my 5th gear doesn't want to go in at all. i just got the car and i'm thinking the tranny is shot... i just want to make sure before i get it replaced that it is the tranny itself thats messed up not just some synchros or something esle that i can easily get fixed.

By your description, it sounds like your synchros are shot. First check to make sure the hydraulic system is bled and working well. If the grinding persists, get it fixed before it becomes more expensive.

deffinatly sounds like synchros. ive had that problem before. get fixed now before u really break something like me. can turn a $500 fix into a $2000 fix
