Default 3-4 only? how come?

Just curious, but why is it only the 3-4 forks that seem to break?

I've had units with busted 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and reverse forks in the past. Usually the 5-6 and reverse forks go bad from driving with worn out or busted fork pads and it eats into the metal of the fork. I've seen busted 1-2 aluminum forks just like you see with the 3-4 forks. Its just that the 3-4 fork failing is much more common but thats true with a lot of 5 and 6 speed performance type transmissions.
